Life is not a 'rose garden', nor did God promise us it would be. But He did promise us that He would be with us through everything. Knowing and trusting He is there is often the only thing that keeps me going when the going gets tough.

Often something as seeminly small as encouraging someone can be as much a blessing to them as if you'd done something big for them.
I also feel that you can most easily teach others to bless by just being a blessing yourself to any and all that you can. I am trying to decide how I can further bless my friend, Piper, and her family as she is going through this repeat struggle with cancer. I've hugged (on-line), encouraged and prayed often for them. Hopefully I'll get to see Piper on Monday and pray that the Lord will reveal to me how I can be of more help and blessing to her and her family.
This month has been a rewarding time. Thank you for the challange, BJ.

Re: April 28 – Bless Others as an Act of Thanks to God

I bandaged a smashed thumb today for a man I've never met. He's a dump truck driver who smashed his thumb with a framing hammer so hard it bled. When he left with clean appendage and gauze, he thanked me for being a blessing. Right now and for the next while, my blesings for others and prayers are for my sis-in-law, Mary Lynn and a niece-in-law, Piper - both are facing breast cancer, Piper for the 2nd time. I pray God will be generous in his peace and healing for these two in next weeks ahead.

Re: April 27 – Where Do We Go From Here?

There is not too much more that I can add.
